ABOUT TOM GRANEY

I have been working for over 10 years from national broadcast initiatives to one-of-a-kind product productions I have worked first hand with clients to crew. My initial specialty was cinematography yet my experience that developed into a seasoned producer. My goal was to understand the language of each phase and eventually stepped into various editor roles in order create efficiency in pre-production, on-location, and post production needs. I utilize this experience to streamline projects and create the best possible product for the job.Utilizing dynamic international projects to local projects my field experience has developed a strong sense of adaptability to insure quality work no matter the obstacles that may be present in order to obtain the story at hand. Furthermore I understand the logistics of coordinating a production in order to be efficient with the teams time. With extensive editing experience I have a dynamic understanding and ability to edit projects myself, as well as tailor specific needs to each show. With this knowledge I am always striving to maintain and exceed the previous edits efficiency and transition from field to post. Again I use this experience for overall supervision of a production and to provide the tools and materials needed to attain the clients goals.My previous work with CBS Sports Network has built my foundation of production from a producing and coordinating standpoint to the development of multiple productions. I have conceptualized and shot numerous specialty projects, features, 30 mins shows, and full one hour programming specials. In addition I have spearheaded multiple initiatives from social media, department training, and collaborative incentives to strengthen production\'s quality and output. I love what I do. I strive on excellence and always look to enjoy each step of the process. I see every challenge in a production as an opportunity to adapt, grow and learn.
