Based in the Value Creation Services team within the wider Financial Advisory arm of the London office. I specialise in delivering rapid performance improvement opportunities to corporate and private equity clients through EBITDA improvement or cash & working capital optimisation engagements. Regular tasks include- Complete preparation of interactive dashboards, dynamic models and in-depth reports, and presenting these to client stakeholders as final deliverables- Carrying out financial and operational analysis using raw client data, often through the build of models, to identify and quantify areas of financial improvement- Aiding the creation of short-term and long-term strategy plans by collaborating with client board members- Analysing private equity portfolios for signs of worsening performance in portfolio companies with the aim of targeting new business opportunities to pitch to the house- Experienced in Power BI, Power Query, Excel and Powerpoint software. Recent projects include- Creating a 5 year financial baseline for a multi-billion pound turnover retailer, providing visibility of spend per function over time and identifying cost saving opportunities to support an expansion strategy- Carrying out a portfolio review for a UK care home business through the design and build of an excel based tool, used to identify areas to either grow or exit by predicting future earnings for each of the 400+ care homes- Rapid working capital reduction for a global assurance firm, overseeing the conversion of £42m of cash over 8 weeks through immediate process refinement and the building of excel based dashboards for prioritisation- Restructuring the operating model of a global law firm over 10 weeks to better enable the back office functions to support the client facing side of the firm- Refining the cash collection processes to improve long-term net working capital for a global financial services firm.
