I currently manage a portfolio of 51 complex procurement projects for European procurement alliance comprising 4 Sysco business and 2 external companies. This includes managing an annual spend over €500million and interacting with CEOs, Directors and cross-functional stakeholders across Europe.I promote collaborative working to leverage scale and buy better together, as well as focussing on harmonisation of processes and products. Key achievements in this role include-Led and grew a strategic procurement alliance through 10 years of operation, in an area where such alliances regularly fail-Identified and overcame major market challenges including legal disputes, availability, large volumes and weather impacts-Reduced selected SKUs by 40% by harmonising products across Europe, including rationalising 9 canned items to 1-Re-established priorities within each market and won buy-in to a new one-business approach to procurement by improving communications and information sharing-Drove consolidation and engagement and reduced complexity by implementing the 3-year plan-Leading a team to create one set of European terms of conditions of supply for Sysco-Integration of existing Constellation lever into Sysco hub activity to create an aligned category sourcing and brand function-Part of a Sysco team that created and implemented RACI document for all processes and activity taking place in the hub-Creation of internal document library - focus on clearly defined and aligned internal ways of working-Managing internal common assortment work in dairy category standardisation of similar products across Europe to create one own label product for 4 European markets-Supporting with internal data alignment on Constellation data reporting as well as understanding current and future tool requirements.
