About Tom Friedel

I became a Padgett Business Services franchisee in August 2008 after a long career in Corporate America. Since that time, I am proud of the way we have been able to help hundreds of small businesses throughout the Toledo and surrounding area. I think that the value we provide goes beyond traditional tax preparation, payroll services, and accounting. First, we take the time to review our clients (and prospective clients) finances, and in many cases, we have been able to find them substantial savings – in some instances, this has been thousands of dollars. As a small business ourselves, we know that every dollar saved can go directly to the bottom line or for much needed projects or employees. Second, we are accessible and available all year for our clients. This might not sound like much until you need an answer and your accountant cannot be reached. Our knowledgeable staff is always ready and willing to help. Third, it’s the little things we can do. For example, every month we have clients that we pick up and drop off their financial information. For some this is the best option, while for others, using state-of-the-art technology allows them to have immediate information on their balance sheets, P&L, and payroll. Basically, we are able to be extremely flexible depending on the clients’ needs. Lastly, and maybe this should have been first—we live in and are invested in the community. In addition to supporting several chambers, we support local charities, and most importantly, provide services to midsize and small businesses, for profit and nonprofit organizations, to families and individuals. We know every dollar we help our clients save goes right back into our local economy, and for that reason, we are happy to be here in Northwest Ohio.
