I am a highly motivated and driven leader with over 17 years experience of multi-site / big box retail. Having worked as a Regional Manager, Area Manager and Big-Box Store Manager, I have developed into an inspirational leader who has a reputation for developing talent and exceeding targets. I believe in a balanced approach, delivering for customers, colleagues and shareholders alike. From obtaining my degree in Economics, working as Operations Manager in Lidl, to attending residential training courses (Manchester Business School, Tesco Academy and Walton Institute) I have developed my analytical and leadership skills as well as my commercial acumen. I take a keen interest in the retail industry weekly.At home, I am married to Angela with 2 children, Isla and Zachary. I enjoy keeping fit through football, squash and weight training. I have always been actively involved in charity fundraising, taking time out to raise money for both local and national causes. I have recently stepped this up by completing fitness challenges in aid of good causes - the 3 peaks was my most recent accomplishment.
