ABOUT TOM DANAHER
I began my investment career in 2015 after graduating with First Class honours in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. I joined Smith & Williamson’s graduate programme in London and qualified as an investment manager. As an Investment Director, I was responsible for managing multi-asset portfolios for private clients and leading long-term client relationships. I also led a fund research team. I relocated to Edinburgh in 2022 to join Baillie Gifford as an Investment Specialist. In 2025, I joined the firm\'s Investment Solutions team as a Client Relationship Director. My role is to work with clients to design equity portfolios tailored to their needs.
