ABOUT TOM CROOKS SMITH
Since 2017 I\'ve worked in government digital transformation, predominantly as a user researcher. I\'m passionate about understanding people and champion an inclusive approach to iterative research, design and delivery. For the last few years I\'ve worked as a senior user researcher, expanding my skillset to include research strategy, capability and growth, knowledge and insight management and enabling research through setting direction and defining best practice. Prior to my work in government I have experience working across various sectors including retail and customer service, telecommunications and education, both in the UK and internationally, with a focus on China. I particularly enjoy opportunities to work with people from all corners of the world. I graduated in 2015 with a 2:1 honours degree from the University of Leeds in Chinese and Politics.
