ABOUT TOM CRITCHLEY
I have worked in an advanced clinical role within the Optometric profession since 2007. I have in depth experience in managing cataract surgery patients, pre-and post operatively, laser vision correction, RLE and medical retina. I have obtained my Independent Prescriber status which has improved my clinical knowledge as well as giving me greater autonomy. I consider myself to be a hard working, dynamic professional, who maintains exceptionally high standards for the benefit of my patients, colleagues and employer. My interest has always been the clinical aspect of optometry, and I enjoy using those skills I have developed for the benefit of my patients. As Principal Optometrist at Spamedica, my main role is to pass on those skills to my less experienced colleagues across over 40 hospitals. I\'m passionate about teaching and maintaining a high consistent standard across the department, which I\'m very proud to lead.
