I am a global supply chain executive and a Civil Engineer by training, with over two decades of leadership experience. I\'m also an entrepreneur, a catalyst for change, and a builder of high-performing progressive organizations. I\'ve successfully led procurement organizations, implementing transformative processes and best practices, resulting in remarkable savings during my tenure at VF Corporation. My leadership has extended to managing teams of up to people, across global geographies, including North America, Europe, and Asia, overseeing an annual procurement spend exceeding $5B. I have a record of driving impact in both direct and indirect procurement for large iconic global retail brands. Early in my career I founded, grew, and successfully sold a small global technology startup. My areas of expertise include:• Product Cost and Margin Expansion: I am known for architecting and executing strategies to enhance product cost savings and expand profit margins.• Supply Chain Strategy Development and Execution: I have extensive experience in devising and executing supply chain strategies and operations.• Procurement/Materials Supply Negotiations: I am an expert negotiator and highly effective in supplier management.• Change Leadership and Organizational Design: As catalyst for transformative change, I successfully led organizations through significant transitions. I conceived multiple organizational structures that drive innovation and efficiency. I also created a data & analytics Center of Excellence to provide predictive COGS forecasting.• Team and Capability Building: I recruited and developed high-performance teams, fostering individual and organizational growth.During the past 17 years at VF Corporation, I have been able to operate as an entrepreneur inside the large and complex enterprise, redefining operating models, optimizing processes, and enhancing product cost management. Currently, I hold the role, VP of Global Supply Chain Operations for Timberland ($1.8B revenue), and also serve as the Global Product Cost Advisor for VF, guiding cost and margin. During earlier progressive roles with Timberland in the US and VF in Hong Kong and Singapore, I delivered meaningful cost savings, reduced complexity, and improved supply security.The first decade of my career is defined by progressive roles with civil/environmental consulting firms. During the second decade of my career, I co-founded and grew Granite Coast Technologies, LLC, a global computer parts import/export company, served as COO, and successful sold the company.
