About Tom Callewaert
Over the past 30 plus years, I have been responsible for design, development, testing and control of major engineering projects. Exercising technical direction over other engineers, designers, and engineering support personnel, establishing a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and or projects, release advance project components and/or line of products, diagnose and corrects deficiencies; maintain cost controls, provide technical direction to support personnel, coordinate supportive build programs, manufacturing support, on-site installation support, project management and coordinate test and/or development programs involving automotive body and assembly, automation, material handling, engine assembly and test systems. Define station processes, conduct design reviews, document meeting minutes, releasing of assemblies, Assist and follow all engineering internal and external from concept through design, build & installation. Define specifications for design and build, quote and issue requisition orders for all external design and build. Assist program manager in maintaining budget and schedule, Customer correspondence and documentation. Perform process and design FMEAs.
