Marks Sattin is a specialist accountancy recruitment consultancy established in 1988. It acquired Toner Graham at the beginning of 2024, itself a successful Cheltenham-based finance recruitment business since 1994. We specialise in all things accountancy from transactional and part-qualified roles through to qualified and senior executive positions, encompassing permanent, temporary, contract and interim. Our ethos is to build long-term relationships with clients and candidates, and between clients and candidates. I’m proud of the relationships that the team here has and it’s important to me that we conduct ourselves in the right way, in fact I am often surprised that we are praised for things that seem common courtesy such as returning a phone call, keeping people up to date and calling when we said we’d call.If you’re a candidate then one of the things I enjoy most is identifying the right position for you. It’s a small distinction but I enjoy placing candidates rather than filling jobs. Armed with a good CV, I enjoy nothing more than picking the phone up in the old fashioned way and speaking to my clients rather than waiting for the positions to come to us.And if you’re a client, what this means is that when you do have a requirement, a lot of the hard work has been done already. We’ve identified and met the best candidates and can respond swiftly to whatever it is you need.
