Are you tired of the same old promises from solicitors who will call you back within so many nanoseconds, bounce emails back to you saying how important you are to them etc etc. How often do you read ‘….we are new, we are different, try us….’, but end up with exactly the same service and excuses?All over the web are profiles of lawyers who are ‘brilliant’ at this and even that. More often than not there are pictures of them seated in front of vast shelves of legal books looking rather clever, or maybe even slightly smug. Inevitably there will be a paragraph, or two to tell everyone their ‘fun side’ and have some ‘wacky’ pass time (okay, I admit used to play croquet).I am human, have a family and live a life. There will be times when I am not available because I maybe representing clients in Court, going out to meet clients, networking, training etc etc. Sometimes I take holiday.If busy I will tell you so rather than ‘fob you’ off with a load of excuses, or just ignore you altogether.Surprisingly there will be occasions when I don’t know the answer off the top of my head to your legal problem. Sometimes I won’t know the answer at all but in all likelihood I will be able to point you in the direction of someone who does. I can’t even promise your case is bound to succeed. If it is ‘doomed’ I will tell you so from the start rather than at the Court door.You may have heard me on BBC Radio 5 Live when I was interviewed about possession claims? I have also been on the BBC Panorama programme \'Fighting for an Education\' broadcast in September 2020 which was covered in the local media too. I have also been on BBC Pointless with my daughter and didn’t do very well.So if you ask what type of lawyer I am, all I need tell you is I am a good one! Well I think so and hopefully so do my clients.
