Executive Leadership and Visionary Strategy Launched the DoDEA Blueprint for Continuous Improvement, aligning the organization with a defined vison, shared goals, and a common curriculum. Led the adoption of a standards-based education system, college- and career-ready standards, providing a comprehensive plan design and implementation over a sustained period. Outperformed every U.S. state in the NAEP report, demonstrating superior student performance, even during COVID, and recognized by The New York Times as the nation’s top-performing school system. Implemented the Restructuring for Student Achievement effort to enhance support for student success worldwide. Organizational Capacity Building Established Centers for Instructional Leadership and Forward Integrated Support Teams to foster instructional leadership. Achieved 100% execution of a $2.2B budget in 2022, while managing additional substantial military construction and procurement funding, demonstrating exemplary financial stewardship and operational efficiency. Pioneered unification of three distinct educational systems (Americas, Europe, and Pacific regions) into one cohesive, global education system, significantly enhancing consistency and quality of instruction for students worldwide. Innovation and Future-Focused Initiatives Orchestrated a swift transition to remote learning, expanding virtual school enrollment from 2K to 12K students in four days. Developed safety protocols that influenced CDC and ED guidelines, earning the 2021 DoD Gears of Government Award. Secured funding for universal prekindergarten, expanding early childhood education access to all military-connected families, ensuring a strong foundation for future student success.
