ABOUT TOM BOISSY BECX

I am passionate about all aspects of high-performance design and construction. The projects we build today are more complex than ever and use the most sophisticated products and installation techniques available to the market place. We must have equally skilled tradespeople and trade partners working together to correctly install these state of the art materials with excellent craftsmanship. In my mind, there is nothing better than a well designed and constructed detail. The expectation of building performance has greatly changed in the last 10 years and continues to evolve. We know more than ever about how buildings perform and with that knowledge comes great responsibility to leverage as much performance as the state of the art currently offers. Buildings have never been more sustainable or energy-efficient and the industry continues to raise the bar through LEED certifications, building commissioning and verification. Buildings have the ability to enhance not only occupant experience and comfort but more importantly occupant performance. The natural evolution of high-performance building is to leverage optimization of sustainability and energy efficiency into increased occupant performance. Well Certified Buildings and Spaces deliver environments which are restorative and performance-enhancing. I saw the link between building performance and occupant performance very early and pursued a Well AP credential in 2017. Be Well.
