Design Manager and Chartered Mechanical Engineer at MMB. Responsible for leading a multidisciplinary design team in optioneering, detailed design, value engineering, process design and procurement, construction & commissioning support. Experience as design lead for a £30million wastewater project on behalf of Yorkshire Water at Hull WwTW, involving full refurbishment of the anaerobic digestion plant and construction of a l/s raised inlet works. Previous experience of working as design lead at MMB on a £25m design and build clean water treatment works project at Rivelin WTW from feasibility through to commissioning over four years.Prior to this three years’ experience working as part of the MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) team at the firm Grontmij as a Mechanical Engineer. Gained experience working for a variety of water companies (United Utilities, Northumbrian Water Limited, Southern Water and Thames Water) as well as a six month secondment working as part of the MEICA team at the Environment Agency. I was responsible for the design of water and waste water treatment works, pumping stations and flood alleviation detention tanks, as well as the specification and installation of hydraulic control valves.
