The team values country and rural estates, farms, agricultural land and equestrian property.There is close synergy and cross over of business with other parts of Knight Frank LLP to include the Country Department (country houses and estates / farms), Rural Asset Management, Research, Renewables, Residential Development, Marine, London Residential, International, Digital Mapping and Building Consultancy.Instructions are received from High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Solicitors, Banks (International, Private Client and High Street), Accountants and private clients.Tom joined Knight Frank LLP in 1997 and concentrated on private client work before development of new initiative with Country Gardens Plc. This involved concession management on garden centres across the south east of England. Wyevale plc took over Country Gardens Plc and Tom remained involved with the business.In the early years of renewal energy schemes and Tom undertook research into the effect of wind farms on residential property values.He acted for the National Trust in the purchase of Tyntesfield Estate (Lots 1 and 3) between April and June 2002 working with Burges Salmon LLP and Sothebys.
