ABOUT TOM BARNES
Experienced Civil Engineer with drive, commitment and appetite to learn. Proven experience in all aspects of civil engineering in addition to residential high-rise, BIM, off-site manufacture, business improvement and temporary works design. I started my career with Balfour Beatty in 2016 as a Graduate Engineer and over the past 5 years have undertaken the role of Graduate Engineer, Site Engineer, Section Engineer and Construction Manager. I am currently completing a year secondment with the in-house temporary works team in order to gain design experience to achieve chartered status.
