ABOUT TOM ANDERSON
I am a semi-retired Statesville NC police chief and currently sworn and serving as a Special Agent with the Investigations Division of the NCDOI.I left the Statesville P.D. in 2015 for a career opportunity with the NC League of Municipalities, to serve as the NCLM\'s first Public Safety Risk Manager. This role prioritized assisting public safety agencies across NC, assisting with risk management needs, and providing best practices. I now serve as the League\'s Director of Risk Control and Public Safety Risk Management. I am fortunate to get to work with a great team of professionals working with N.C. local governments. I additionally teach a variety of criminal justice and government-related courses through several colleges and institutions. I am interested in professional networking connections in the service to our local governments and law enforcement agencies.
