About Tolga Erbora

I am a recently graduated Ph. D in Particle Physics at Florida International University, and am currently an Assistant Teaching Professor and Lab Coordinator & primary instructor of the General Physics labs at the University. Over the years I have worked closely with Jefferson Lab\'s GlueX Collaboration in several research projects particularly focusing on meson spectroscopy. I have attained experience collecting data for Hall-D\'s GlueX, PrimEx, and Charged & Neutral Pion Polarizability experiments, as well as the XEM2 and Deuteron Electro Disintegration experiments for Hall-C. I have also explored participating the up and coming Electron Ion Collider project in Brookhaven National Lab, which is an exciting generational physics undertaking looking into the structure of the proton among other inquiries. I am looking to develop my specialties in quantitative, risk, and data analysis, and applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and apply them both in academia and industry.With interests in experimental and theoretical physics, advanced mathematics, computing, and problem solving, combined with my interests in logistics, particularly railroads, I am open to pursuing professional and creative solutions in one or more of these areas going forward.
