About Tokarah Benford
I am a third-year Broadcast Journalism major on the Pre-Law track at the University of Cincinnati, with academic focuses in sports, media, and entertainment law. As I complete my Legal Studies certificate, I’ve been building a strong foundation in legal research, communication, and advocacy across the industries I’m most passionate about.My long-term goal is to become a sports and entertainment attorney, combining my background in journalism with my commitment to equity, storytelling, and protecting talent and organizations. Through my involvement in Bearcast Media, Black Women in Pre-Law, and the Society of Sports Leaders, I’ve grown as a leader and gained firsthand experience in how law, media, and culture intersect.I am currently seeking legal internships or pre-law opportunities within sports, media, or entertainment where I can apply my skills, support meaningful work, and continue developing my legal career.
