   Hi, I\'m Jeff Johnson, a career broadcaster, journalist, professional speaker and writer - and adult-diagnosed Autistic, cancer survivor, disabled veteran, and advocate for those with hidden disabilities. I’m often called “The OTHER Jeff Johnson” because - no matter how many times someone asks, “Are you the Jeff Johnson who it’s almost NEVER me.When I was diagnosed with Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in 2018, I faced the prospect of losing the voice that had fed me for decades … forever. The videos on my “Jeff Johnson’s Battle with Throat Cancer” playlist (https://youtu.be/oJFl5tKlDP0) chronicle my diagnosis through being declared “cured” in 2023.Two years after finishing cancer treatment, I was diagnosed with a lifelong Autism Spectrum Condition commonly called Asperger’s Syndrome. That explains SO many things about my life, including many of the challenges I’ve faced and how I’ve systemetized the methods I use for overcoming adversity.
