Stories To Elevate and Ideas That DareSignal Hill Road Publishing, LLC is a new company dedicated to publishing books and products highlighting the inescapable interconnection between science and culture, technology and societal aspirations, and people and responsibility. Black-owned and woman-owned by Dr. Jemison(Former NASA Astronaut and First Woman of Color in Space) and partners Jason Batt and Todd Walton, Signal Hill Road Publishing (SHRP) is dedicated to showcasing diverse voices to publish “Stories to elevate and ideas that dare.” Inspired by Signal Hill, standing high above the port city of Freetown, Sierra Leone on the coast of West Africa where Dr. Jemison served as the Area Peace Corps Medical Officer, Signal Hill serves to guide incoming ships and hopeful souls. Signal Hill Road itself twists and turns and provides a beautiful view of city, beaches and the Atlantic Ocean that flows all the way to the Americas. Like the vista, SHRP seeks to provide a unique view of the rapidly evolving worlds of science and social issues reaching all ages. SHRP is committed to engaging challenging and fresh concepts in ways that broaden humanity\'s path to the future while improving life here today.
