When I was 19, I climbed the “Stairway to Heaven.” Not metaphorically—I literally climbed the “Stairway to Heaven.”The \'Stairway to Heaven\' is a 30-foot ladder-like obstacle located at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California. As a recruit, I had to climb up to the top, flip myself over a log, and then go back down the other way. Despite it being (quite) scary, I made it. The most important lesson I learned while in boot camp is, I’m the kind of person who believes I can do anything I\'ve seen someone else do. The fact is: Those “I can do anything” lessons learned from serving in the Marine Corps are true for anyone. To quote the founder of the Ford Motor Company, Mr. Henry Ford.“Whether you think you can, or you think you can\'t, you\'re right”
