I\'m a journalist who\'s covered the entertainment industry from every angle, business and creative. For more than a decade, I’ve been a regular contributor to the trades, first The Hollywood Reporter and now Variety, which I recently joined full-time as an editor. I’ve also written for a wide range of other publications, including the Los Angeles Times, the New York Post, American Cinematographer, Emmy, Filmmaker, and, yes, even the Weekly World News. I\'ve done a wealth of celebrity and executive profiles, analysis of industry trends, and in-depth features on technology, finance and below-the-line talent (VFX, cinematography, costume design, production design, editing, etc.). I\'m adept at creating compelling narratives, whether the subject is a famous actor or the nuances of a tax credit.I was one of the first to write extensively about the domestic production incentive race that has transformed the way Hollywood does business, and for more than a decade I\'ve covered the streaming space, which has trurned it upside-down.
