About Todd Haugland

I have been helping people all my career. Never one to do the bare minimum, I make sure that whomever I work with gains something from the involvement. I believe people want to learn new & different things; they want to grow by expanding their knowledge of what\'s around them. I like to help them achieve that goal. I’m hard-wired to fix problems and raise the tides that all sail on. I’ve always helped where I can: coaching, tutoring, and organizing where I can to lend a hand when it’s needed. Whether in a support role, a consultant, or officially a trainer, I want people to lift themselves and have the confidence to move forward. Through workshops, classroom instruction, 1-on-1 tutoring, or online training curriculum that I have written and presented, I use detail-oriented methods to improve people. They need to know not only what to do, but why: knowledge gives the confidence to succeed. Where I was in a supportive IT administrator role, I used creativity to work myself out of a job by teaching those I supported how I fixed an issue. Where I was an outside consultant, my strong attention to detail ensured evidence would be seen by measurable ways that business improved. I can work independently to create programs of learning, then communicate effectively for the best results. I enjoyed by time in SaaS, as the industry is especially geared toward helping others through self-motivated and self-directed service. Not just providing shelf-ware, SaaS must prove itself every single day. It must show the user/business that it can not only do what’s needed today, but it – and the people like me that train on it – can show its value and grow as the business does. Working within a team and leveraging its creativity through detailed organization skills, made for a great work environment and great curriculum for the people willing to learn. Growth is what humans thrive on. And I thrive on helping people grow.
