Since 2021, have been heavily involved in the creation and implementation of SOX controls and GAAP needed to bring the division - that was acquired as a privately-held startup - up to par for public company reporting standards. Also instrumental in moving the division\'s accounting ERP system from Quickbooks Enterprise to NetSuite, as well as offshoring half the accounting team in order to gain financial efficiencies.Prior to 2021, was Senior Accounting Manager for another division that operated in both the US and Canada that had also been a privately-held acquisition in need of upgrading its accounting methods and controls to achieve GAAP compliance.
