About Todd W. Best

I am the managing partner for the Cincinnati and Dayton practices of Deloitte, where I am responsible for the strategy of Deloitte’s services and presence in the marketplace. I also lead Deloitte’s tax practice for the Cincinnati, Dayton and Louisville offices. In these roles, I am responsible for helping our people understand their role in delivering what really defines Deloitte, which is our drive to make an impact that matters in the world. In my 35 years of public accounting tax experience, I have had the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, including manufacturing, transportation, distribution, and other specialized sectors. My expertise spans corporate, pass-through and individual taxation, multi-generational wealth planning strategies, accounting for income taxes, and tax planning, consulting and compliance. I have spent most of my career serving complex organizations and their shareholders, including many that are foreign owned, by providing value-added tax planning strategies and solutions. In addition, I am committed to the development of others and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of tax services to our clients. Outside of my profession, I proudly invest in my community through my board service for Northern Kentucky University, REDI Cincinnati and lead Deloitte’s campaign for the Cincinnati United Way.
