Oversight of strategic sourcing, supply chain, commercial contracting and category management of the following areas; Capital, Digital & Data, Networking & Telecom, Research & Research Lab, Biomedical Equipment, Purchased Services, Professional Services, Consulting, Staffing, and Independent Contractors. • Responsible for the Supplier Diversity program including direction, planning, organizational objectives & goals, day-to-day operations, and implementation of supplier diversity initiatives. • Maintain support & visibility of the Executive leadership team by interacting closely with executive leadership and other senior leaders of the company in the development and implementation of strategic sourcing for the managed categories. • Responsible for the overall strategy and performance of approximately $500M annual spend of capital, goods and services as well as the governance of the strategic sourcing process. • Oversee supplier management process including the verification of new suppliers, business reviews, supplier fairs, supplier relationship management, and supplier problem escalation and resolution. • Work effectively with SME\'s, clinicians, staff, hospital executives and suppliers on cost savings and efficiency efforts while prioritizing the mission in patient care, research, education, and community. • Achieve organizational savings by meeting and exceeding team goal annually of ~$10M operational expense reduction and additional negotiated savings and cost avoidance from capital expenditures • Member of VCT (ventilator crisis team) reporting to Hospital Incident Command System, providing guidance on pandemic support for ventilator and respiratory needs • Member of DLT (digital leadership team) providing supply chain support and guidance to Digital senior leadership of the organization
