My responsibilities are focused on the Colorado region for Xcel as part of a successful team of IR Professionals covering 8 Midwestern and Western states, serving 3.4 million electric customers and 1.9 natural gas customers. Our efforts maximize recovery of value via disposition of surplus, salvage and scrap equipment and materials. We partner with business areas to develop strategies to secure best revenue and maximize cost avoidance in keeping with the company’s social and environmental sustainability and safety values. We support large dismantling projects, assisting to recover the most value from plant assets and equipment within Xcel Energy’s operating territories.* Manage Investment Recovery programs and projects * Managed sales transactions* Negotiates pricing with buyers * Develops and administers marketing plan for retired assets * Appraises assets and establishes sales prices * Analyzes markets for pricing trends and sales opportunities * Reports on monthly and annual investment recovery metric * Contributes to contract criteria for major demolition, dismantling, asset removal and sales transactions
