ABOUT TODD STAHELI

I joined the USGBC within the Technical Customer Service (TCS) team in April 2016 and was promoted to Team Lead in February 2024. New role, same great team! In my new role, I oversee a dedicated team committed to advancing green design, construction, operations and maintenance certification processes. I understand the complexities and potential frustrations of learning new or unfamiliar rating systems, so I\'m committed to offering prompt technical support and addressing underlying issues to enhance the overall customer experience. My approach is one of active advocacy for our customers and of problem solving through strategic thinking. As TCS\'s subject matter expert for O+M and Arc (both relate to the operations & maintenance of existing buildings), I have helped shape and improve LEED v4.1 O+M, and inform v5. Prior to joining USGBC, I was a Project Manager with Paladino and Company in their Seattle office. During those eight years, I had the opportunity to work with some fantastic sustainability experts.working with project teams, performing LEED reviews, and preparing LEED applications. Outside of work and family, my greatest passion is sailing. This began with racing Lasers & 420s in college for the UW Sailing Team, and later hopping boats around the world as professional crew. Returning to Seattle WA, home was a 35 foot sloop at Shilshole Bay Marina.
