I volunteer with this non-profit organization whose mission included promoting financial literacy within Fairfax County. I act as a formal Mentor with a family, assisting in defining goals (short and long term), creating/maintaining a practical budget, and tracking the assets/debts. I participate in initial financial counseling sessions in conjunction with community organizations. These sessions focus on individual issues and questions for members of those organizations. I have given a class on household budgeting, using FDIC\'s \"Money Smart\" program, Module 4 \"Money Matters\".
