Oversees all communications and team services initiatives for the Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey Club, while serving as a club spokesman and liaison to hockey operations both within and outside the organization. Primary areas of responsibility include: • Development and implementation of integrated strategic communications plans to advance the club\'s brand identity; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences.• Work with ownership, the leadership team and team members to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions and executes appropriate strategies to support them. • Oversee the development and publication of club digital and print publications and oversees game day media & broadcast services including press box operations, game notes, stats etc. • Actively engage, cultivate, and manage press relationships to ensure coverage surrounding Columbus Blue Jackets hockey games, non-profit programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects. • Work with Blue Jackets alumni on team-related projects and the formal organization of team’s Alumni Association.• Oversee all team travel arrangements, including flight, hotel and bus service.• Oversee player/management/staff relocation services.o Work with team partners, vendors & others throughout the community to create a network of services for club personnel, particularly players, coaches and their families.
