About Todd Moore
IBM was a wonderful company with so many facets to explore that I made a long career in both hardware and software, ultimately, leading the Open Source Programs and the position of Chief Developer Advocate for the company before retiring after 39 years. Having the opportunity to participate in both the hardware and software businesses, I have enjoyed many roles from pure technical to product line delivery with P&L. My objective is to continue to explore, build strong business results, and to advocate and support Open Source software development. This desire to give back to the communities I have worked to develop brought me to join the Linux Foundation,where I lead operations for our Large Projects. The Linux Foundation is the backbone on which our technologically developed world rests with over projects, 100m lines of code coming in per week, and 800k contributors, it is the neutral home that engenders trust to those that will consume it\'s projects.
