ABOUT TODD MILLER

I am a patient - focused diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist with over a decade of academic clinical experience and a unique combination of hospital level leadership and clinical quality and safety knowledge. My practice is centered on treatment of disease of the brain and spine with state of the art, minimally invasive techniques. As a neurointerventionalist, I focus on cerebrovascular disease such as: Stroke Thrombectomy, Subarachnoid hemorrhage, Chronic Sub Dural hematoma embolization, and Epistaxis embolization. I also treat spine disease with epidural steroid injections in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine using the safest techniques available. I commonly treat insufficiency fractures from osteoporosis and cancer with cement and ablation with unilateral punctures and the least invasive devices to minimize complications and pain from the procedure. CSF leak and positional headache is a common complaint from my patients and I can diagnose and treat this debilitating disorder. Recent advances in interspinous spacers for neurogenic claudication and spinal stenosis have become available, and I have been impressed with the results in carefully selected patients in my practice. I can also use the newest generation of spinal cord stimulators to treat back pain and diabetic peripheral neuropathy without general anesthesia.I’m proud to lead the Neurointerventional service and Stroke team at Stamford, and share that we have achieved Joint Commission Accreditation as a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center after only one year of operation.
