A Vice Chairman with Cushman & Wakefield, Inc, Todd has over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, all with Cushman & Wakefield (C&W). Todd represents multiple clients conducting negotiations for the most significant real estate transactions in the Rocky Mountain West, United States and even global markets managing a combined client portfolio of over 40 million RSF and average annual transaction volumes exceeding $150 million. Transaction specialties include lease negotiations, build-to-suit contracts, structured finance, lease and sale dispositions and fee simple acquisitions. Todd has handled multiple corporate headquarters relocations for numerous clients, as well as highly technical life sciences, manufacturing and R&D facilities. He leads a team of highly specialized professionals capable of managing complex portfolios or one-off transactions involving office, industrial, mixed-use, land and other types of commercial property.Todd earned a B.A. in Finance from Western Colorado University in 1990. Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. appointed him to the Board of Trustees for Western Colorado University in January of 2011 where he was elected Chairman of that board, serving two full terms over eight years. He has served on multiple committees for the Denver Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Board of Directors for the Tennyson Center for Children and Families and the Board of Directors for Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of Realtors. Mr. Wheeler has received numerous awards and recognition for top performance in his practice and has been the featured speaker for events sponsored by NAIOP, DMCAR, the University of Denver, Colorado Real Estate Journal, Denver Business Journal and Commercial Property News and was recently named one of the top 100 most influential CRE Executives in the country by the Business Journals. Mr. Wheeler is a Colorado native, actively involved in the mountain west community and his family.
