About Todd Lyon
Mr. Lyon was one of three Founders and the CTO of BAMfi (Inc. Until the end of 2019 BAMfi was a financial technology company that provided factoring software, payment processing, and receivables backed working capital to numerous industries. Starting in 2020 BAMfi became a financial software as a service provider. Mr. Lyon designed, architected, and together with a small offshore development team built, the software system FactorCloud which manages large books of factoring business for banks and commercial lenders. Mr. Lyon has physically managed development and engineering teams in the United States, India, Hong Kong, Thailand, Ukraine, Costa Rica, Poland, France, and the Philippines, as well is remotely in numerous other countries. He maintains a permanent residency visa and work permit in the Philippines. Together with various teams, Mr. Lyon has architected several financial, factoring, and transportation specific platforms, and has personally built/coded numerous financial integrations with banks and other financial reporting institutions as well as many other APIs utilizing golang micro services.Prior to BAMfi, Mr. Lyon was the VP of Systems Engineering for CLOSERV (a software division of the then largest private mortgage company in the USA - Lenox Financial), a technology company specializing in transaction management and settlements in the mortgage and title industries. There Mr. Lyon led a development team that built an online platform that settled over $12bn in mortgage transactions between 2006 and 2012. During that time Mr. Lyon was also the CEO of a software development and outsourcing company, Trident-3 Inc, based out of Makati Philippines. Mr Lyon has also performed several security assessments of online systems, including a security and destruction testing audit for Siemens Electric\'s Demand Response Management System.Mr. Lyon received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and took his specialization courses in network security and systems engineering. At Georgia Tech, he also student taught US government and tutored all levels of calculus. Prior to attending Georgia Tech, Mr. Lyon was a division 1A Varsity Track athlete at Auburn University where he ran the 800m and 1600m.
