Work cross-functionally with various internal asset teams, including external land brokers and field consultants to coordinate and achieve adequacy for consultation and notification with the Alberta Aboriginal Consultation Office (ACO) for the various Indigenous and Métis project consultation in Treaty 6 & 8 territories respectively.• Serve as main contact between Veren and ACO to ensure successful completion of regulated consultation activities• Develop and maintain effective relationships with Indigenous community consultation offices in Veren\'s Kaybob and Duvernay assets to ensure optimal balance of consultation requirements and respective consultation needs and accommodations.• Maintenance of database of key contacts with all Indigenous communities Veren works with• Regular reporting on the progress of project consultation activities and initiatives• Identify and support, where needed, the development of Indigenous community investment opportunities as they align with corporate community investment pillars • Identify and support, as needed, economic opportunities for engaged Indigenous communities that align with Veren\'s various business units and project activities• Provide strategic advice as it relates to all Veren\'s various Crown land and Reserve land activities • Act as a company representative at various community investment initiatives• Facilitate discussions within the company in support of planning and implementing community and Indigenous engagement activities
