In my role I’m responsible for defining product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization across a portfolio of products. I work across multiple stakeholder teams including software engineering, design, and quality assurance on a daily basis to collaborate on stories, work through product details, and provide feedback on behalf of our customers.To understand the diver journey I\'ve immersed myself in to diver certification, going from a consumer to professional level certification (IDC Staff Instructor; top 5% in dive industry). I’ve traveled globally to work with internal and external customers such as retail dive shops, resorts, and professional dive instructors to get feedback on product needs, roll out new products, and educate them on existing products. An example of a key product developed was the evolution of our dive certification system, moving certification from a largely paper-based process to a digital-optimized experience encompassing diver registration, e-learning, student management, and certification. This product supports dive trainers globally across 9 languages, saving them significant time and cost they can redirect to other areas of their business.
