The Development Associate II is responsible for performing assigned experimental tasks to support the development and optimization of manufacturing processes or analytical/characterization methods for Alexion’s biotherapeutic candidates. The Development Associate II will work in collaboration with other members of Process Development and Analytical Sciences.\\\\n\\\\n\\\\nPrincipal Responsibilities\\\\n\\\\n•Conduct experimental studies to develop, optimize or qualify analytical/characterization methods for biotherapeutic candidates\\\\n•Execute experimental studies to support manufacturing process development or analysis of therapeutic proteins\\\\n•Document study results in notebooks, forms, and technical reports\\\\n•Assist in laboratory management including ordering and maintenance\\\\n•Perform HPLC/UPLC and digests (trypsin, Lys-C, PNGase F, reduction).\\\\n•Perform LoC, IEF, SDS-PAGE and gel elution to recover proteins from gels.\\\\n•Perform and develop other methods to characterize proteins, i.e. CD, N-terminal, etc.\\\\n\\\\n\\\\n
