About Todd Harbour
As a seasoned data management professional, former Chief Data Officer for New York State, and a key data leader within the U.S. Federal Government, my career has been dedicated to advancing the field of data management. My roles have positioned me at the helm of critical data strategies and initiatives and allowed me to contribute to the broader data community as an Associate Director at the MIT-based International Society of Chief Data Officers and as a Data Management Association (DAMA) member. In addition to these roles, I co-founded the Grist Mill Exchange (GME). This exclusive data marketplace caters to government customers, offering unique solutions and facilitating secure, efficient data exchanges. My entrepreneurial spirit also led me to co-found Core4ce, another data company specializing in operational, engineering, analytics, and cyber fields. These ventures reflect my commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in data management and services, aiming to meet the complex needs of our clients and the industry. Furthermore, as the author of three books and several papers on data management and leadership, I have sought to share my insights and experiences. My work, especially my first book on modern strategic data thinking, provides practical, actionable advice for executive data leaders navigating today\'s data landscape challenges. I am driven by a passion for advanced data management, a commitment to excellence, and a belief in the power of data to transform operations, strategies, and outcomes.
