I founded PulseAlert after losing my grandfather, who suffered a stroke while living alone. He lay helpless for two days before passing away - a tragedy that could have been prevented with the right technology. That moment shaped my life’s mission: to make sure no other family experiences what ours did.After serving in the Royal Canadian Navy, I carried forward the same sense of duty and discipline into building a company that protects lives. What started as a personal mission has grown into one of Canada’s leading providers of emergency medical alert systems helping thousands of seniors live safely and independently.Today, I’m focused on expanding into healthcare technology exploring how AI, data, and wearable innovations can help us better understand and support seniors in their homes. I travel the world studying how different countries are tackling the aging crisis and use those insights to create solutions that ease pressure on healthcare systems while improving quality of life for seniors.I’m deeply passionate about senior mental health and the human connection behind technology. Our latest work uses conversational AI to monitor and support emotional well-being giving families peace of mind and helping seniors feel less alone.Outside of work, you’ll find me on the tennis court, cycling, or deep in Algonquin Park exploring backcountry lakes with a canoe, my husky, and a backpack.
