About Todd Gage

Executive leader with a dynamic background who specializes in training, team building, developing, and maintaining relationships, and problem solving. Currently managing Barbaricum’s Mission Support Division providing agile, mission-specific support to the Department of Defense and other government agencies. The Mission Support Division portfolio consists of various IDIQ contract vehicles, multiple Prime contracts and task orders, and well as subcontracts with select industry partners. Barbaricum personnel facilitate multi-domain training, operational testing and evaluation, emerging technology integration, supply and logistics, ISR, and special operations across five continents. I am involved in engagements with the customer, the COR/KO level, and teaming partners. Additional tasks include working with CPARs, eCMRA, System for Award Management (SAM), and CMMI inputs. I am cross trained in recruiting, business development, and accounting procedures. My recruiting skillset range from using a leading applicant tracking system (Lever) and Clearance Jobs, to initial phone screens with candidates, to recommending hires and salaries. My business development skillset consists of developing and reviewing past performance, providing input into the operational aspect of the management and technical volumes, proposal reviews, compliance reviews of sections L&M, and crosswalks of Government published requirements to proposed labor categories. My accounting skillset consists of an understand of WAWF, ACRN, and Costpoint. As a business owner, I managed three businesses while maintaining or growing sales over ten years. In the military, my leadership positions range from leading 10-40 individuals and managing over $5 million dollars’ worth of equipment. Internationally my experience ranges to over 30 different countries and my Program Management and Six Sigma skills have reduced operational cost across my portfolio.Demonstrating decisive leadership ability in the military, I was selected to command a team of Special Forces/Green Berets during highly complex and stressful combat missions. For this leadership I was awarded the Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award. Colleagues know me as a dynamic leader who projects self-confidence and a natural leadership ability. My leadership style is to define roles, communicate expectations, provide training and guidance, and hold coworkers accountable for their work.    Technical adviser to Company Commander, indigenous, and allied personnel while preparing Operational Detachment Alphas for operations orders, area studies, area assessments and unilateral missions- Briefed the U.S. Ambassador, the Defense Attaché, U.S. Congressmen, General Officers and Special Operations Forward Commander on combat operations and intelligence matters- Built rapport and strengthened relationships with Lebanese Armed Forces leadership infrastructure in order to protect the U.S.$1.5 billion investment in the Lebanese military- Received the Army’s prestigious Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award for leadership and actions.
