SPORTS EVENT PLANNERS & RIGHTS HOLDERS: Why Partner with Visit Tri-Valley?A full-service Bureau offering complimentary assistance with the following services: Coordinate site inspections of sports facilities and hotels Securing venue and hotel proposals Securing bids from local suppliers and vendors Partner with local facilities, entities, and organizations to submit event bidsABOUT THE DESTINATION Located 15 miles East of Oakland, CA Consists of four cities (Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, and Danville) Average annual temperature is 72 degrees and 300 days of sunshine \"Sunny Side of the Bay\" Home to largest outlet mall in California and over 60 wineries (Livermore) Numerous outdoor and indoor sports facilities that can host up to attendees Can be reached by car (30 min) or by mass transit (60 min) from both SF and Oak airports Over sleeping rooms in more than 40 propertiesADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES-Assist sports event organizations in securing venue(s) for athletic events in the Tri-Valley; facilitate negotiations in rental contracts between client and venue-Scout potential sports event venues; Organize and conduct site visits at athletic venues & hotels with clients-Secure multiple hotel bids for client setting up discounted room blocks for event staff, athletes & spectators-Liaison between sports event organizations and our key stakeholders, members, athletic facilities, and city and county entities-Develop sports sales and marketing tools: sports facilities guide, sports ads, articles, features-Produce bids for regional, national, and international sports events; partner with regional counterparts to collectively bid on events; partner with local clubs and organizations to bid on events-Attend regional, state, and national tradeshows and conferences
