I have over 20 years of varied experience in the transportation and construction industries, including development and instruction of various courses, element level routine, fracture critical, and in-depth bridge inspections; rope access climbing inspections of bridges, stadiums and ancillary structures; waterfront inspection; and construction management. I have been the Team Leader and Project Manager for various State DOTs bridge and ancillary structure inspection master contracts. Bridge inspection contracts include routine, fracture critical, in-depth, and damage inspections with varying means of access. Ancillary structure contracts include initial, routine, in-depth, and damage inspection of sign structures, traffic signal mast arms, high mast lighting towers, and light pole structures. My inspection capabilities are supplemented by being a certified member of the Society of Professional Rope Access Technician (SPRAT Level a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and a Level II UT and MT Specialist in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A.I am a NHI Certified instructor for the Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course (130055), the Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges for Professional Engineers course (130056), the Bridge Inspection Refresher Course (130053), and have previously taught the Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures course (130087).
