I currently hold the position of Executive Vice President for KBI Recycling, and Vice President of Retriev Technologies, a KBI joint venture company.KBI is located in Southern California and is a permitted TSD that specializes in battery management and recycling. Our group companies manage and recycle over 75 million pounds of batteries per year.Our joint venture company Retriev has facilities in Ohio, as well as British Columbia Canada. Trail Canada, is the only north America operation that manages and recycles both primary, and secondary lithium battery chemistries. The Retriev Ohio operation manages industrial application motive power lead acid batteries and advanced battery chemistries such as nickel cadmium, and nickel metal hydride.All of the KBI group companies are permitted through the appropriate competent authorities (US EPA, Ohio EPA, Ca EPA, Canadian Ministry of Environment)Specialties: My area of expertise is the management and recovery of advanced battery chemistries such as lithium ion and nickel metal hydride batteries used in hybrid and electric vehicle applications.
