Lead an experienced and innovative team responsible for Avionics and Software integration into the CH-47F/ Block II. Monitor and capitalize on evolving MOSA/FACE technology to maximize avionics effectiveness and minimize costs and schedule. Support all avionic requirements for PM Cargo entities, to include all Foreign Military Cases. Leads the Crew Station Charter for the CH-47F Improved Cargo Helicopter Program Office.Lead Crew Station Working Group (CSWG) charter and establishes membership, scope, objectives, and procedures for the CH-47 CSWG. This forum assists the CH-47F, Block II Modernization PM and Army Capabilities Manager (ACM-L) in the identification, management, and resolution of crew station, human factors, and integration issues related to the CH-47.The CSWG is an advisory group, providing a forum in which representatives from each participating organization can meet to discuss their requirements and mutually resolve human factors, crew loading, and crew procedural issues with respect to avionics hardware and software. This forum assists the Cargo PM’s and TCM-L by providing insight through simulation, demonstration, and analysis of functionality, operational suitability, configuration and procedures associated with flight crew actions. There are many tools available for the CSWG to achieve these goals The Cargo Helicopter Engineering Analysis Cockpit (CH-EAC) is the preferred method of demonstrating PVI enhancements. The CH-EAC enables the CSWG to demonstrate changes dynamically in operationally realistic scenarios. It also allows Human factor engineers to measure the change in workload and situational awareness attributed to a given Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) change.
