As a seasoned labor lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience, I am passionate about labor relations and employee engagement. At Fisher Phillips, I co-chair the Labor Relations Practice Group, working across the west coast to deliver cutting-edge solutions for public and private sector employers.My practice focuses on collective bargaining, grievance and interest arbitrations, strikes/lockouts, and unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board. I bring a unique perspective to my employer clients, having previously represented labor organizations in Chicago and Seattle, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of both sides of the labor aisle. This dual perspective empowers me to craft innovative strategies for clients in dynamic industries such as healthcare, beverage distribution, waste/recycling, food manufacturing, and hospitality.In addition to my practice, I am certified by the American Arbitration Association as an Employment Law Arbitrator, adjudicating disputes with fairness and insight. An avid researcher and writer, my contributions to the field include serving as a Chapter Editor of The Developing Labor Law since 1998 and authoring key chapters for Oregon State Bar’s labor law treatise and XpertHR.com.Recognized by my peers with an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell, I am also honored to be listed as an Oregon Super Lawyer and acknowledged in Chambers USA Labor and Employment and Best Lawyers in America.
