Lead BIDMC’s Technology Ventures Office that manages intellectual property, negotiates pre-clinical industry sponsored research agreements and negotiates licensing agreements. Support our Harvard Medical School faculty members in the development of novel technologies and spinout companies. Expanded the Technology Ventures Office (TVO) team and launched a Venture Mentor program. Work with Faculty and staff to substantially increase revenues from licensing, translational research grants and industry sponsored research, while launching and renewing alliances with major biopharma and VCs. Serve on committees to establish long term plans for research and education at BIDMC, leading to formation of four translational research hubs. Collaborated with faculty and staff to create a new BIDMC comprehensive business development pitch deck for licensing and alliances. Collaborated with the TVO team to develop a series of educational seminars in technology development and technology transfer. Worked with staff to streamline the technology transfer processes, deploy an integrated IP management and IP promotion system and create an automated tech transfer-training module with an integrated invention assignment function.
