ABOUT TOBY KONETZNY

Toby Konetzny is Chief Executive Officer at South Bay International, the pioneer of the \"Bed in a Box\" concept and has been servicing consumers and customers since 1993. South Bay International is a vertically integrated company with one of the largest mattress and adjustable bed factories in the world, with state of the art equipment, in-house labs, testing, and technology centers. South Bay International has developed some of the most prominent private label brands in the marketplace and can handle all aspects of the business cycle from development, warehousing, in-home delivery and consumer call center. Before joining South Bay International Toby Konetzny was Vice President of Marketing & e-Commerce Sales for Coaster Company of America, a leading provider of imported and domestic home furniture. Coaster Company of America ranks among the top 10 US furniture suppliers to the retail industry. Coaster is headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, CA and operates 7 strategic distribution centers throughout the nation, with over items and 3.5 million square feet of warehouse space. It has offices in Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Malaysia.Beyond his marketing role, he was actively managing and overseeing Coaster\'s e-commerce sales channel. e-Commerce has become an ever-increasing avenue for retail sales, this requires a different business model approach than traditional brick and mortar business. Coaster was one of the first to pioneer the furniture drop-ship model being used today by many importers and retailers.Also at Coaster, he was the category product manager/buyer for home office and accents for five years, worked at the startup e-commerce direct to consumer division of Coaster Company as well as various marketing and sales roles.
