I have worked for Morrison’s for 14 years starting in 2001 as a trainee department manager. Over the next three years I ran a number of shop floor departments.(fresh and frozen, non food and night manager).I was promoted to assistant store manager in 2003, were I oversaw ambient, replenishment as well as duty manager responsibilities.In 2005 I became a department area manager for non food covering 65 stores throughout the south west. Responsible for developing non food sales growth through better use of space and range specific to store demographics and minimising cost through training and developing teams in store. And driving business strategy.2007 seconded to regional refit coordinator, looking after all refit activity and new store setups. Over the next 5 years I helped deliver 18 new stores, several large complex store extensions as well as high profile concept conversions. This involved managing multi site works. In 2013 I went back into store as Deputy Store manager.Formally at Cardiff Bay and now at Port Talbot. My current roll is about engaging with 250 colleges and 22 managers, coaching and supporting them to offer market leading service to our customers and lead them through the turn around that the business is currently experiencing.I am a driven, passionate and tenacious manager with natural energy and enthusiasm.Whilst I have a wealth of experience I am very self aware, open to change, learning new things and growing as a manager.

May 2016 Joined Lidl UKI have worked for Morrison’s for 14 years and prior to this I worked as a manager at Pets at home for three years. I am very proud of my career to date with Morrison’s. I love the fast paced energy that food retail brings. The highlights of my career to date are being a big part of opening 18 shops through the south west, and currently coaching and supporting my team of 270 people at Port Talbot through the biggest change that Morrison’s has experienced. What enthuses me about my job is people, both customers and colleagues. Interacting, supporting, engaging and leading. Whilst being a driven retail manager balance is important to me. There is nothing more I like doing than spending time with my wife Hayley and my 5 year old son Jack. We are a very active family and enjoy getting out and about and exploring nature.
